Brian Dean Fidalgo II is a multifaceted professional with a rich background in both the arts and technology sectors. A third-generation Tampanian, Brian has been a prominent figure in Tampa’s arts community for over two decades. His passion for dance was ignited during his time at Howard W. Blake Magnet Arts High School, where he discovered the profound connection between physical movement and emotional expression.
Throughout his dance career, Brian has collaborated with esteemed companies such as Spanish Lyric Theatre, The Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Contemporary Dance (Fuzion), Gaudere Danza, Moving Ethos, Moving Current dance collective, and Ledges and Bones. His performances have taken him across the United States to cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, St. Louis, Seattle, and internationally to Colombia. Notably, he co-developed the base//flight partnering technique for modern dance with his creative partner of 12 years, Erin Cardinal.
Transitioning into the technology sector, Brian has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical skills. At PwC in Tampa, Florida, he served as a Manager in Business Services Tech Operations from 2021 to 2025. In this role, he was the primary IT owner for application infrastructure and service delivery for the Ethics and Compliance Business. He managed uptime, incident triage, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement processes.
Prior to his tenure at PwC, Brian held significant roles in various organizations. As an On-Site Administrator – L3 Support at AROptions from 2018 to 2021, he supported over 1,250 printer devices and more than 80,000 end-users globally for PwC, achieving 99% SLA compliance for support requests. At Glyeco Inc, as a Managing Partner from 2015 to 2017, he increased Florida operations’ annual revenue by 28%, from $1.1M to $1.4M. As the CEO/President of Brian’s On-Site Recycling Inc. from 2012 to 2016, he grew operations by 50%, increasing annual revenue from $200K to $300K.
Brian holds a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification and is proficient in GenAI Prompting, Alteryx, Data Analysis, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Business Intelligence tools. He is experienced in SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Business Process Modeling. Fluent in Spanish, Brian has also been actively involved in leadership and community initiatives, serving as a My+ Activator Lead and member of the P&T Purpose and Inclusion Council.
